Daytona Rising fuels boost in revenues for Intl. Speedway Corp.

DAYTONA BEACH - International Speedway Corp. on Thursday reported increases in revenues and net profits for both the fourth quarter and full year for fiscal 2016, which ended Nov. 30. Helping to fuel that increase was its completion in January of last year of the $400 million Daytona Rising makeover of Daytona International Speedway. ISC had expected the completed project would provide an “immediate incremental lift” in revenues in the first year of $20 million.

Toyota Racing Development unveils new Camry for NASCAR Cup Series

Toyota Racing Development hopes that “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” is alive and well in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The manufacturer unveiled its newest Toyota Camry street car on Monday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit — an entry that was designed hand in hand with its NASCAR Cup Series counterpart.
