The Blackhawks moved within five points of the Wild, which could have temporarily taken over the NHL wins and points lead.

Apparently writing about both a) my local weather and b) how easy it should have been for a Kings win over Detroit last time caused both to go a little topsy turvy. It managed to get even colder here and the Kings had a dreadful performance against the Red Wings.
All four Wild prospects showing well at the World Juniors
The Minnesota Wild have only made 11 draft picks in the last two years, but it sure seems like they made some good ones based on what’s happening at the World Juniors. American forwards Jordan Greenway and Luke Kunin have also shown well.
