Lindsey, Northwestern roll to easy win over Iowa

Both of those elements were at their absolute peak on Sunday, as Scottie Lindsey scored 22, Bryant McIntosh had 20 and the Wildcats dominated both ends of the court in a convincing 89-54 win over Iowa.

Northwestern Wears Down Rutgers in 69-60 Loss

This was another winnable game at the RAC that saw Rutgers falter down the stretch due to a lack of scorers on the roster. Everyone went quiet for stretches in the second half and Northwestern wore Rutgers down on the boards, something that was a bit unexpected.

Minnesota Basketball: Previewing Northwestern

After a narrow loss at home against Michigan State, a missed opportunity, the Gophers showed guts and backbone on the road against a good Purdue team to steal a road win and do more than enough to get back on track early in the conference season. Overall, it’s was a net gain for a Minnesota team desperate to establish themselves as a team to take seriously in the Big Ten.
