Students at two schools in Ridgefield were told to "shelter in place" Wednesday as police searched nearby for a suspect wanted after a dispute in Westchester County, N.Y., Ridgefield police said. The incident began at about 1:30 p.m., when officers Ridgefield assisted police from Bedford, N.Y., in tracking down a 22-year-old man who had been in a dispute in that town, police said.
