Briarcliff Manor Issues Advisory To Residents In Advance Of Nor’easter

With as much as a foot of snow expected to hit the region, officials in Briarcliff Manor have declared a snow emergency that will be effective as of midnight on Monday. According to the New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the state is anticipating that between 16 and 20 inches of snow may fall in the lower Hudson Valley, with more than a foot coming to upstate New York.

Briarcliff Man, 20, Had 49 Grams Of Marijuana, Yorktown Police Say

A 20-year-old man from Briarcliff Manor was busted by police on Route 9A in Yorktown last week with nearly two ounces of marijuana in his possession. On Wednesday, the Yorktown Police Department announced that at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, March 3, patrol officers stopped Kyle Birch on Route 9A for alleged tail lamp and muffler violations, initiating a traffic stop in a parking lot on Crompond Road.
