The Briarcliff Manor Among County’s ‘Outstanding Family-Owned Businesses’

The Briarcliff Manor, a restaurant in the Haymount House, a 1902 mansion in Briarcliff Manor rumored to have inspired the Tara estate in the film, "Gone With the Wind"--was recognized as one of Westchester County's most outstanding family-owned businesses at an awards ceremony in White Plains. The Briarcliff Manor was one of 26 businesses in Westchester County and Fairfield County, Conn., honored by Westfair Communications Inc., publisher of the Westchester County Business Journal, Fairfield County Business Journal and WAG, a regional lifestyle magazine.
