Bronxville Schools: No Prepayment Of Taxes Without Warrant

Although village residents have been receiving conflicting information regarding the pre-payment of taxes in Bronxville, the school district has refused a warrant to allow such payment. This week, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order allowing New Yorkers to prepay property taxes following the passage of the Republican tax reform earlier this month.

Bronxville Students Collect, Wrap, Deliver Holiday Gifts To Veterans

Some Bronxville students will find themselves on the "nice list" this year after brightening the day of some Hudson Valley veterans during the holidays. A holiday gift drive, spearheaded by social studies teacher Dana Landesman and led by the sophomore class at the high school, led to the donation of more than 100 gifts, which were delivered to the New York State Veterans' Home at Montrose.

Police Bust FedEx Employees In Westchester Package Stealing Scheme

An investigation into an elaborate scheme involving two FedEx employees stealing packages in Westchester County led to the arrest of four men who now face felony charges. The Bronxville Police Department received a report of a theft in progress shortly before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 from a residence on Courseview Road, with the suspects fleeing in a grey Audi.
