Gov. Andrew Cuomo delivered his first in a series of regional State of the State addresses today in New York City and the closure of Indian Point in Buchanan was a key topic. Cuomo and Entergy, the owner and operator of the Indian Point Energy Center, announced a deal today to shut down the Reactor Unit 2 in April 2020 and Unit 3 in April 2021.
