Flores reportedly slipped a note claiming he had a gun at the customer service counter at the M&T Bank at 1019 Park St., formerly Hudson City Saving Bank, demanding all the money in the register at around 8 p.m. Friday, according to state police.

A driver reaching speeds of more than 90 miles per hour took Croton-on-Hudson Police on a chase Thursday through the village before crashing into the gate of the historic Cortlandt Manor, according to Croton-on-Hudson police. Motorist Goes Off Road, Down Embankment In Route 9 Crash In Croton

Firefighters and police officers from several departments responded to a car accident at 7 a.m. Monday on Route 9 after a an SUV flew down the embankment, injuring the driver, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. The accident occurred on southbound Route 9, just north of Senasqua Road, after the vehicle left the roadway and went 150-feet down the embankment, fire officials said.

New Details Emerge In Teen Sex Assault Case In Yorktown

Two teens who were charged with juvenile delinquency for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at a Yorktown party on Sunday, Oct. 30, were not hit with stiffer charges because the attack did not qualify as first-degree rape, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. The two 14-year-old Croton-on-Hudson teens were charged with four counts of juvenile delinquency because of their age, and because according to the facts of the case, the crime did not meet the requirements for the charges, said Robert Wolf, spokesman with the District Attorney's Office.
