Three Westchester Teens Arrested For Rioting After Basketball Game

Three teenagers were arrested on Wednesday night after a riot broke out at the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry following a high school basketball game. At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, the Dobbs Ferry Police Department received a 911 emergency call reporting a riot in progress at the Lanza Activity Center following a basketball game between students at the Children's Village and the Pleasantville Cottage School.

Dobbs Ferry Man Charged With Selling Heroin, Adderall

Following an investigation conducted by members of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, a Dobbs Ferry man was charged with selling heroin and Adderall. Hector I. Burgos, 32, was arrested following the investigation which included several undercover buys in which Burgos sold heroin and Adderall for cash, officials with the task force said.

The U.S. Coast Guard proposal that would create anchorage sites for barges along the Hudson River continues to be much-maligned by both local homeowners and elected officials in New York. Hudson Valley officials came together at the Yonkers waterfront on Monday to announce additional legislation that would stop the Coast Guard's proposal that includes the installation of 16 anchor berths across 715 acres on the water between Yonkers and Dobbs Ferry.
