Two Dobbs Ferry High School students have been charged for their role in posting an audio file making threats on Springhurst Elementary School. On Monday afternoon, Dobbs Ferry Schools Superintendent Lisa Brady announced that two students were being charged as juveniles with falsely reporting an incident, making terroristic threats and second-degree aggravated harassment following a police investigation into an Instagram post they deemed "inappropriate."

Police beefed up security throughout the Dobbs Ferry School District on Monday after a pair of high school students posted a perceived threatening video on social media. Officials confirmed that they were investigating two Dobbs Ferry High School students who posted a video that was determined to be inappropriate and threatening toward the Springhurst Elementary School.
