High school girls’ lacrosse star signs on with Mercy College

One of West Milford High School's top athletes will be bringing her massive lacrosse skills to Mercy College next fall, says her coach, Christian Conway. Taylor Bishop, a 17-year-old senior and an attackman for the Highlanders, recently signed a "letter of intent" with the Dobbs Ferry, NY-based school, where she will play with the nationally ranked Mercy College Mavericks.

Sleepy Hollow Signs On To Play Soccer At Boston College

Samantha Coffey, a Sleepy Hollow resident who is a senior at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, on Wednesday signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Boston College next fall. Coffey, a midfielder, was a member of the USA Under-18 Women's National Team last year, during which she traveled to Northern Ireland in the fall to play in the 2016 Women's International Cup.

Dobbs Ferry Wins Thriller Over Woodlands For Class C Football Title

Dobbs Ferry High's football team was running clock, on its way to a title Friday night facing top-seeded Woodlands in the Class C championship game at Mahopac High School, when a hiccup - in the form of a fumble - almost cost the Eagles dearly. But Dobbs Ferry's Jack Capuano forced another fumble moments later, which sealed a 21-14 victory, giving the Eagles their second consecutive title.
