Nearly two months ago, Snapchat released its latest opt-in feature, the Snap Map, which allows users to see their followers' whereabouts with a simple swipe of a finger. According to Snapchat officials, it allows friends to share their locations with each other so they can see "where they're at and what's going on around them."
The project comes from developer Rajan Tewar, and it will be located at 3456 Conner Street in the northeast Bronx, according to plans filed on Thursday with the Department of Buildings. The project will be five stories and 61 feet tall, span 52,305 square feet and be located next to a bus depot along the New England Thruway.
