Photocopy Salesman From Eastchester Sued For $4.4M In Alleged Fraud Scheme

Twice in the past 10 months, an Eastchester man has filed for bankruptcy protection, and both times he failed to mention a significant debt, according to this report by Westfair. Executex Inc., a Hawthorne photocopy distributor he represented, has accused Joseph Holzberg of pocketing $436,000 in commissions on phony photocopy leases.

Two Indicted For Stealing More Than $500K Cash, Jewels In Westchester

Two New York City men were arraigned on Tuesday, July 24 on charges from two incidents including the theft of more than $500,000 in cash and jewelry in Westchester. The half-million burglary occurred at an Eastchester apartment in April, according to Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. Both men were charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and second-degree grand larceny, all Class C felonies.

According to a News12 report , Eastchester Police Chief Timothy Bonci, who's been investigating the deaths of Eastchester millionaire Archie Harris and his aide, Betty Ramcharan at their mansion in 1996, has stated that they still believe they arrested the man who committed the crime, even after he was found not guilty in his fifth trial this week.
