The Chapel School is looking for running enthusiasts hoping to hone their trait while training for a good cause - and an automatic entry into the TCS New York City Marathon - after being named as an official charity partner of the prestigious road race. The Chapel School - which serves residents throughout the lower Hudson Valley - is looking for runners of all skill levels to submit their applications for consideration as a member of Team Chapel , with those chosen each guaranteed a spot in this year's TCS New York City Marathon.

Eastchester Marathon Runner ‘Answers The Call’ For Fallen First Responders

A Bronxville marathon runner "answered the call" at the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, raising more than $3,500 in support of the families of fallen first responders. As a member of team "Answer the Call - the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund" Bronxville resident David Kilsheimer raised a total of $3,672 from sponsors at the marathon, which he finished with a time of 3:59:48, narrowly crossing the finish line before his four hour goal.

All summer long, "Team Chapel" has been busy pounding the pavement - both literally and figuratively - as they spent weeks training for the race while simultaneously running a fundraiser that has net nearly $10,000.
