The Hastings-on-Hudson Village Arts Commission is opening "How High The Moon," a multimedia art exhibit and village-wide celebration of man's fascination with the moon. The juried art exhibit, in conjunction with the Hastings Historical Society, showcases 21 works selected from approximately 150 submissions.
The first of WCT's three community open houses is set for 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. Talks about WCT's history and future plans, and tours of the space, will be given between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. It will remain open until 12:30 p.m. to accommodate drop-ins. The newly renovated space previously housed a cabinet-making factory and mMuch of its original "industrial" look has been retained.
