Two Northern Westchester Store Clerks Sold Alcohol To Minors, Police Say

Clerks at two stores in Northern Westchester were charged with selling alcohol to underage customers in a detail conducted by New York State Police from the Somers barracks on Friday, April 27. Danbury resident Nube M. Verbal Altercation Outside Katonah Pharmacy Among Bedford Police Calls

A Good Samaritan who attempted to stop a motorist following a fender-bender outside of a Katonah pharmacy nearly found himself in a physical altercation requiring police intervention. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, a verbal dispute broke out in front of Weinstein's pharmacy on Katonah Road after a driver struck a parked car as he was pulling out of a parking space .and a passerby attempted to alert him According to police, the pedestrian that saw the accident told the driver to stop, leading to an argument that had to be broken up before police arrived.

Missing Katonah Man Found, State Police Say

The 41-year-old man who went missing in Katonah Friday night was found Saturday morning, state police said in an announcement just before 9 a.m. At the request of State Police in Somers, a Missing Person Alert has been issued by the Division of Criminal Justice Services related to the disappearance of a 41-year-old Northern Westchester man. Reiko Imazaki of Katonah is described by authorities as an Asian male wearing a black hat and green overcoat.

Car Slams Into Home In Somers

Emergency responders are at the scene of a crash Saturday in which a car slammed into a home on North Lane in Somers, off Moseman Avenue. There has been no word on the extent of damage to the home, which is located in a Katonah mailing address near Muscoot Farm, or any possible injuries.
