A pair of Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse players junior Taylor VanThof and freshman Livy Rosenzweig have been named IWLCA All-Americans, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Thursday. VanThof, a midfielder from Livonia, New York, was selected to the second team, while Rosenzweig, an attacker out of Katonah, New York, was one of three freshmen honored, garnering a spot on the third team.

John Jay Youth Lacrosse, a not-for-profit organization offering spring and fall lacrosse programs for boys and girls in grades K - 8 is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year. The youth lacrosse program relies on community contributions to help fund its programs and all are invited to join friends and community members for dinner, drinks and a silent auction at the annual John Jay Youth Lacrosse Dinner and Auction at Waccabuc Country Club, Saturday, June 3 at 7 p.m. All proceeds go back to the lacrosse programs for kids in Katonah-Lewisboro.

John Jay Finishes Second In Science Olympiad

John Jay High School finished second overall at a recent Science Olympiad and will advance to a state competition, the Katonah-Lewisboro School District announced. Two teams from John Jay contributed to the overall finish at the olympiad, the district notes, which was held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Byram Hills High School.
