The Oresman Gallery at the Larchmont Public Library will open the exhibit, "Pathways Through Nature," featuring art by Rye artists Silvia Gesing and Lorraine Mignone, on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The exhibit of pastels and oils represent the more recent works of these two artists, according to a release from the Larchmont Public Library. The scenic, original works of art were inspired by the natural world - its beauty, endless variety of subject matter and layers of color, the release said.
