An engineer was hospitalized overnight after suffering a reported head injury while conducting an inspection of a freight train in Mamaroneck early on Monday morning. MTA police confirmed that at approximately 2 a.m., an engineer was inspecting the top of a freight train when he fell onto the tracks, suffering head trauma.
