Westchester Identity Thief Sentenced To Time In State Prison

A Mount Vernon woman is heading to prison after stealing the identity of an Ohio resident for a weekend of fun festivities two years ago. On Monday, acting Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty announced that Simone Barrett Johnson, 29, was sentenced to between two and four years in prison after being found guilty by a jury for assuming the identity of an Ohio woman between Thursday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb 23 two years ago.
