A Thanksgiving service for the life of the late founder and CEO of Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery and Grill, Lowell Hawthorne, takes place today in Brooklyn, New York. The service, which will be held at the Christian Cultural Center, located on Flatlands Avenue, is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am following a viewing of the body, which starts at 8:00 am.

According to tweets from Golden Krust Bakery, the vigil will be held at the Undercroft from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to celebrate the life of their hero and legend.
