Report: Mount Vernon Deputy Police Commissioner Sued For Workers Comp

A trash hauling company owned by oft-ostracized Mount Vernon Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Spiezio is reportedly being sued for failing to pay more than $750,000 in workers compensation. According to a lohud report released on Tuesday afternoon, officials with the New York State Insurance Fund has made a claim that R & S Waste Services in New Rochelle, which is owned by Spiezio took out an insurance policy in five years ago, but failed to pay $780,000 in premiums before the coverage was ultimately cancelled last year.
