An off-duty New Rochelle police officer who was drinking before he crashed his vehicle last year, killing his best friend, has been sentenced for his role in the fatal incident. Harry Kyreakedes, 28, has been sentenced to a term between two and a half and seven and a half years in state prison after pleading guilty in October to a felony charge of first-degree vehicular manslaughter and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
