Nine From Westchester, Fairfield Counties Charged In Drug Trafficking Ring

Nine members of a family-run drug trafficking organization have been charged with narcotics conspiracy in connection to the FBI raid of a New Rochelle grocery store this week. On Thursday, members of the FBI were spotted entering the Supermercado Mexico supermarket on Union Avenue in New Rochelle at approximately 9:30 a.m. on, Oct. 11. Agents were seen taking boxes of evidence from the location and arrests have been made.

The New Rochelle Board of Education began a formal removal process to terminate another buildings and grounds employee, believed to be the sixth this school year. The Board voted Tuesday to end the probationary period of Louis Apicella as a Painter-Working Foreman, effective June 15, 2018 as a prelude to his termination and criminal referral for time theft.
