Five bids were submitted to the New Rochelle Board of Education earlier today in response to a long-awaited Request for Proposal for Legal Services. Jeff Kehl, formerly of Kehl, Katzive & Simon which later merged with Bond, Schoeneck & King, the District's current law firm, has been the District's lawyer for 41 years without competitive bidding.
