A Westchester teenager is facing life in prison after pleading guilty to shooting a Yonkers police officer last year and to his involvement in a separate New Rochelle shooting. New Rochelle resident Frank Valencia, 19, has pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon for his involvement in a standoff involving Officer Kayla Maher, who was shot in the jaw.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino said on Tuesday that Stivenson Desir, 19, was found guilty of one count of murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon after he shot and killed Iona student Brandon Lawrence in Lincoln Park last spring.
