With a blizzard warning in effect for much of southern New York, the Village of Ossining has declared a Snow Emergency effective at 9 p.m. Monday. During a Snow Emergency stopping/standing/parking is prohibited on designated Snow Emergency streets.

Sens. Carlucci, Klein Support Raising The Age At Ossining Roundtable

Sens. David Carlucci and Jeff Klein recently held a roundtable discussion in Ossining on the push to craft legislation that would raise the age of criminal responsibility from 16 to 18. Village Of Ossining Rejects Roundabout Petition

The Village of Ossining announced Wednesday they are rejecting the petition submitted by the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce to pursue a referendum regarding a proposed roundabout for downtown. Of the 2,683 signatures submitted, 1,049 signatures were rejected, leaving 1,634 valid signatures, below the 2,146 signatures needed to force a referendum.
