Spring Into Action At The Picture House’s Spring Break Camp

Action and adventure await budding filmmakers at the Picture House Regional Film Center's Spring Break camps taking place Monday, April 10 through Thursday, April 13 in Pelham. Using the hit "The Lego Batman Movie" as their inspiration, students will create a new action-adventure short film each day of camp.

Pelham’s Picture House Hosts Screening, Talk With Comedian Robert Klein

The Picture House Regional Film Center in Pelham will screen the documentary "Robert Klein Still Can't Stop His Leg" on Wednesday, March 29, followed by a discussion with the director, TPH's critic-in- residence Marshall Fine, and the film's subject, legendary comedian Robert Klein. In the documentary, Fine follows Klein in his daily routines and gives viewers an inside look at a seasoned comic improvising jokes about everyday life: grocery shopping, getting a haircut and hanging out with pals, according to a release from TBH.

Pelham’s Picture House Hosts Advance Screening of ‘The Sense of an Ending’

The Picture House Regional Film Center in Pelham will present an advance screening of the new film "The Sense of an Ending" on Tuesday, Feb. 28, with a post-film Q&A with director Ritesh Batra. Adapted from the Booker Prize-winning novel by Julian Barnes, "The Sense of an Ending" tells the story of Tony Webster , divorced and retired, who leads a reclusive and relatively quiet life.

Larchmont Group Plans ‘Fight Fear With Facts’ Refugee Rally

Hearts and Homes for Refugees Larchmont Mamaroneck , a sister organization to Hearts and Homes of Pelham, is holding a march and rally on Sunday, Feb. 12 to raise awareness of the refugee situation and to provide facts to fight fears people may have as a result of misinformation or too little information. The march will start at 2 p.m. at Flint Park in Larchmont and end with a rally at the Kemper Memorial at the Mamaroneck High School.

Picture House In Pelham Screens ‘They Call Us Monsters,’ With Director Q&A

The Picture House Regional Film Center in Pelham will host a special advance screening of the new documentary "They Call Us Monsters" on Saturday, Jan. 21. The documentary is set in California where violent juveniles between the ages of 14 and 17 can be tried as adults depending on the seriousness of the crime. These young teens are accused of heinous crimes--murders and attempted murders--that leave their victims' families shattered.
