Spring Into Action At The Picture House’s Spring Break Camp

Action and adventure await budding filmmakers at the Picture House Regional Film Center's Spring Break camps taking place Monday, April 10 through Thursday, April 13 in Pelham. Using the hit "The Lego Batman Movie" as their inspiration, students will create a new action-adventure short film each day of camp.

Pelham’s Picture House Hosts Screening, Talk With Comedian Robert Klein

The Picture House Regional Film Center in Pelham will screen the documentary "Robert Klein Still Can't Stop His Leg" on Wednesday, March 29, followed by a discussion with the director, TPH's critic-in- residence Marshall Fine, and the film's subject, legendary comedian Robert Klein. In the documentary, Fine follows Klein in his daily routines and gives viewers an inside look at a seasoned comic improvising jokes about everyday life: grocery shopping, getting a haircut and hanging out with pals, according to a release from TBH.

New Rochelle Contractors Get Scare After Finding Massive Beehive In Pelham

A contracting crew removing a tree in Pelham got a brief scare on Thursday morning when they came across a massive beehive while finishing up their work. Crews from Almstead Tree, Shrub and Lawn Care in New Rochelle were working near the intersection of Irving Place and Cliff Avenue when they spotted the beehive, which they described as having a circumference greater than a foot.

Bee-Line Bus Accidentally Ends Up Parked On New Rochelle Lawn

A Bee-Line bus wound up wedged between several signs and poles on a New Rochelle lawn on Tuesday afternoon, after the driver failed to complete a tight turn near the Pelham town line. Police confirmed that a bus wound up on the front lawn of 224 Storer Ave., when the driver failed to make the turn near the intersection of Glenwood Avenue.
