TUESDAY: Garden Clubs Bring Flower Power to Rye Free Reading Room

On Tuesday, February 7, 2017,the Garden Club of Rye and The Little Garden Club of Rye is inviting the general public to attend a floral design program given by Dana Worlock at 10:30am at the Rye Library. Dana Worlock is the creative force behind a floral design and garden consulting company and Hedgerow, a flower shop in Pound Ridge, NY.

SPOTLIGHT: Pound Ridge seniors get in the holiday spirit

Poinsettias by the dozens, punch with sherbet and a special visit by Old St. Nick were just a few of the highlights enjoyed by more than 80 Pound Ridge senior citizens, who came to Conant Hall Dec. 8 for the town's annual Neighbor to Neighbor Holiday Lunch. "It's a wonderful time for family," said Rose Lamont Stackhouse, one of the luncheon guests, who said she has lived in Pound Ridge since 1975.
