January 18, 2017 – Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. announced today that it has closed the sale of the Hilton Westchester, a 445-room, full-service hotel located in the New York City-area community of Rye Brook, New York. Hilton Westchester features resort-style amenities, including 31,278 square feet of flexible meeting space, outdoor and indoor pools with whirlpool, state-of-the-art fitness center, his and her saunas, indoor tennis complex, jogging track, volleyball court, tech lounge and two food and beverage options; hA rth restaurant, which focuses on American comfort food with a contemporary approach, and hA rth lounge, which serves light fare and cocktails.

Chopt Creative Salad , with Westchester locations in Mount Kisco and Rye Brook, plans its official opening on Friday, Jan. 13. There is a pre-opening however with “Chopt Gives Days” on Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 5 p..m. to 7:30 p.m.and Thursday, Jan. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in which all customers who make a donation to Chopt’s charitable partner, Dig Farm, will receive a free salad or salad wrap. United Federation of Teachers President Michael Mulgrew and the woman he was involved in a sex scandal with in 2012 wed quietly last summer, according to an article from the New York Post. Rye Brook Considers Local Law To Restrict Where A New Gun Shop Can Open

A month after a gun shop opened in Harrison, the Village of Rye Brook is considering a new local law that would restrict where a similar shop could operate there. Rye Brook Mayor Paul S. Rosenberg said, “If someone was looking to open a gun shop in Rye Brook, this proposed local law would regulate where it could potentially open, taking into account the distance from schools.”
