Bill Mooney Steps Down As Westchester’s Economic Development Director

After nearly a decade serving as a key member in Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino's administration, Director of Economic Development William M. Mooney, III is stepping down from his position to take a job in banking. On Friday, Mooney told Daily Voice what he told Astorino more than a month ago: he is resigning from the position he has held since June 2014 to become the Senior Vice President Group Director at Signature Bank, based out of White Plains.

Westchester County Center Vendor Gets Ocean Grill Contract At Rye Town Park

A new restaurant called Ocean Grill operated by Homestyle Catering will replace Seaside Johnnies this summer at Rye Town Park, officials announced Thursday. The popular caterers already operate food and beverage concessions at golf courses and other public attractions in Putnam County, Rockland County, White Plains and Yonkers.

Stepinac High School Drama Club’s Theater Lab to Stage Tony/Oscar-Winning ‘Amadeus’

Jan. 10, 2017 - PRLog -- Stepinac High School's innovative Theater Lab will present a production of the Tony and Oscar-winning "Amadeus" by Peter Shaffer during two performances to be staged at the school's Major Bowes Auditorium, 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains at 7:30 PM, Saturday, March 4 and at 2 PM, March 5. The production about the highly fictionalized and intriguing account of the lives of the composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri will be the second since Stepinac's acclaimed Drama Club launched the Lab a year ago with performances of the riveting courtroom drama, "12 Angry Men." Stepinac's Theater Lab empowers students to star, direct, design and produce dramas.
