Family Displaced, Six Firefighters Injured In Three-Alarm Yonkers Fire

A family of six was displaced and six firefighters suffered injuries after a three-alarm fire that broke out in a vacant three-story structure spread to an adjacent home in Yonkers late Thursday afternoon. About 60 members of the Yonkers Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire at 100 Clinton St. at 4:50 p.m., according to Yonkers FD Deputy Chief Joseph DeLasho.

Police Cruiser Crashes In Westchester

A New York State trooper was involved in a two-car crash in Yonkers on Thursday afternoon that slightly injured the trooper and another person. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. when the state police were dispatched to investigate a personal injury accident on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers, said Trooper Michael Cassella.
