Sudden Shutdown Forces Summer Program Relocations At Sprain Ridge Pool

With the Sprain Ridge Pool being closed indefinitely after it was found not to be structurally sound in Yonkers, officials in Westchester have begun rescheduling events and programs that were planned for the summer season before the sudden shutdown. Earlier this week, Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced that in an attempt to reopen the pool in Yonkers before July 4 last year, contractors rushed work at the pool, which resulted in structural issues.

Trick Or Treat? At Yonkers’ Cross County Mall, Folks Get Both

Kids can get into the Halloween spirit a little early with a visit to the Cross County Shopping Center's Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 21.
