Feds: Upper Saddle River man among 46 indicted in mob sweep

A federal crackdown on organized crime activities led to 46 people - including a dozen locals - being charged with racketeering, violence and gambling, including some crimes committed in Yonkers, according to an indictment released Thursday by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan. The U.S. Attorney's Office claims those arrested are mob leaders, soldiers and associates of the "East Coast La Cosa Nostra," with Mafia affiliations to the Gambino, Genovese, Luchese, Bonnano and Philadelphia organized crime families.
