A Westchester man has been sentenced after admitting to attempting to kill the same man on a pair of occasions in less than a week. Earlier this year, Yonkers resident James McNair has pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder following two shooting incidents in the city involving the same man earlier this year.

The man who terrorized a gas station during several armed robberies over the span of more than four months has been sentenced after found guilty by a jury following a trial in Westchester County Court. On Thursday, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced that that Bronx resident Gregory Harris, 41, has been sentenced to 11 years in state prison after he was found guilty of multiple counts of robbery related to four incidents at the same Central Park Avenue gas station in Yonkers in 2016.

The driver of a BMW that crashed on Central Avenue last year and killed 19-year-old Nina Cordero in Yonkers and injured her boyfriend has been sentenced to a term of between three and nine years in state prison. Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter earlier this year, was sentenced on Tuesday, where he faced a maximum term of up to 15 years in state prison for his role in the Aug. 26 fatal crash last year.
