A Yonkers resident has been elected to the New York State Senate Veterans' Hall of Fame by Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. Each year, a veteran from each of the state's Senate districts who has served his military and "performed outstanding service on behalf of their community as a civilian" is celebrated by the government.
Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins today inducted 73 year-old Samuel L. Reddic of Yonkers into the New York State Senate Veterans' Hall of Fame. The honor and recognition is bestowed each year on a veteran from each Senate District who has not only valiantly served our country in the military but also has led a distinguished civilian life.
