Pulitzer Prize-Winning Columnist Dave Barry Returns To Westchester

Best-selling humorist and author Dave Barry will return to Westchester County this spring where he will speak before a live audience in his hometown of Armonk on Thursday, April 6, at the North Castle Public Library’s Whippoorwill Hall, at 7:30 p.m. Barry is a columnist with the Miami Herald, which he joined in 1983. He attended elementary and middle school in Armonk, and was voted “Class Clown” when he graduated in 1965 from Pleasantville High School.

Armonk Man Sentenced In I-684 Wrong-Way Crash That Killed Woman

An Armonk man has been sentenced to nearly a decade in prison after drinking, driving and getting involved in a wrong-way crash on I-684 in Bedford that took the life of a woman and left his passenger with severe injuries. On Thursday, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino announced that Zachary Tokson, 27, has been sentenced to an indeterminate sentence of three to nine years in state prison after pleading guilty to three felony charges related to a 2015 accident.
