Self-Help seeks city support for $10.8 million project in North-East Central Durham

An incentive agreement up for Durham City Council consideration in February could help redevelop buildings in the historic Angier/Driver business district in North-East Central Durham, according to city documents. The council will consider the agreement that won’t exceed $700,000 with Self-Help for a total of $10.8 million worth of projects at 2101 and 2116 Angier Avenue and 306 and 308 South Driver Street, states a memo shared with council members from Grace Dzidzienyo, acting director of the city’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
