Bryan Cranston to make London stage debut

The ‘Breaking Bad’ actor will appear at the National Theatre’s Lyttelton Theatre from November playing unstable television news anchor Howard Beale in the stage adaptation of the 1976 movie, which won Peter Finch an Oscar for the same role. Rufus Norris, National Theatre director joked he had first approached Bryan for the role at the Tony Awards in New York 18 months ago, when the 60-year-old actor presented the National with the Best Play award for ‘The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time’.

Bryan Cranston returns to series TV in ‘Sneaky Pete’

Bryan Cranston admits he had no idea where his character would be going when he returned to series television in the new Amazon series “Sneaky Pete.” Cranston, who catapulted to TV stardom as chemistry-teacher-turned-drug lord Walter White in AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” is one of the executive producers of “Sneaky Pete,” whose 10-episode first season will be released Friday, Jan. 13 on Amazon Prime.
