Margarita Ochoa-Maya, MD came to a crossroad in her life when she felt that what she had set out to do when she decided to become a doctor was no longer in agreement with the current medical practice and the health care institution. She believes modern health care in the United States is not winning against “disease” and that “health care” is extremely expensive and seemingly hard to attain-but there is a reason.
