Perfect fifth: Amboy students given freedom to choose, tackle projects

More and more schools are trying out the 20 Percent concept, a model that’s worked well for big companies such as 3M and Hewlett-Packard, by letting employees – students, in schools’ cases – spend one-fifth of their time working on projects of their choice.
