Air district and Contra Costa health officials are continuing to work to find the source of a rotten-egg smell reported in both Richmond and San Francisco, officials said Friday. The foul smell has been prevalent in Point Richmond and San Francisco this week and may be connected to flaring incidents at the Chevron refinery that the county says were not properly reported.
