Patients at the U.S. Veterans Administration Medical Center here will soon have access to WiFi, at the urging of U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal . Blumenthal had urged VA officials to provide access after hearing from a Marine veteran and writer who was being treated for leukemia at the West Haven hospital , who felt the lack of Wi-Fi impeded his recovery and resulted in social isolation.
