‘Don’t Shoot Me!’ Suicidal Westchester Man At GWB Rail Shouts At Police

An emotionally distraught Westchester man leaning over the railing on the upper level of the George Washington Bridge shouted "Don't shoot me!" when police approached Tuesday afternoon, then threatened to jump if they got any closer, authorities said. Elmsford Teens Qualify As First CERT Team in Region

In a joint board meeting held Oct. 5, the Elmsford Union Free School District and the Village of Elmsford honored 15 high school students who successfully completed training this summer to become Westchester County's first Community Emergency Response Team.
