Sonic building second LI location

Harrison, N.Y.-based Sonic franchisee Spencer Hart, who operates under the name Cinos , will open a 1,716-square-foot Sonic restaurant at the still-under-construction Green Acres Commons in Valley Stream this fall. After opening his first Long Island Sonic on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon in April 2011, Hart said he is moving ahead with the Valley Stream site and three others in Nesconset, East Meadow and Riverhead.

Local airports step up security
