Irvington Celebrates New Field, Track With Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

After years of working for a new field, the Irvington Union Free School District will officially unveil the new Meszaros Field and Oley Track with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday before the beginning of the annual homecoming football game. "After years of documented needs for new, improved facilities and a design and approval process that engaged so many, Irvington finally has the new facilities that our student-athletes and community members will enjoy for years to come," Superintendent of Schools Kristopher Harrison said.

Glen Rock ‘investor’ sentenced for role in $3 million fraud

GLEN ROCK - A borough man was sentenced Wednesday for his involvement in a multitude of scams in which he manufactured fictitious investment opportunities and lied about his involvement with other, legitimate business deals, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Paul Fishman said in a statement Wednesday. Paul Mancuso, 50, was indicted two years ago alongside a disbarred attorney, Pasquale Stiso, 55, of West Harrison, N.Y., on conspiracy and wire-fraud charges.
