Snowy Tuesday In Store For Harrison

A storm streaking across the Upper Midwest is forecast to bring snow to the area on Tuesday, dropping anywhere from one to three inches of the powdery stuff to the Hudson Valley before midnight, according to the National Weather Service. The snow should move in sometime during the morning Tuesday and bring with it a wind-chill factor between 15 and 25 degrees.

Accumulating Snow Possible Overnight Into Monday In Harrison

Areas farther south have a higher chance for snow with an inch possible in New York City and the most southern areas of Westchester. Monday will be a cloudy day with a high in the low 30s and a wind-chill value between 20 and 25. Snow is even more likely Tuesday, with a coating to an inch of snow possible in the area, according to AccuWeather.com, adding that it only takes a small amount of snow to cause slippery spots on roadways.

Concetta Robinson, 82

Concetta "Connie" Robinson, a longtime resident of Melrose, passed away at Brigham and Women's Hospital on Wednesday, January 4, at the age of 82. Born on February 14, 1934, Connie was one of two daughters of the late Ferdinand and Rosa Rombola. She was raised near the coastline of Long Island Sound in Harrison, New York.
