Police Arrest Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Harrison Pharmacy

Police said that Christopher Johnson of 2363 26th St. in Astoria, N.Y., was charged in connection with Sunday's 8:35 a.m. robbery of 1,600 prescription pills at Trotta's Pharmacy at 15 Halstead Ave. Johnson was taken into custody shortly after the robbery by Harrison police officers in the 400 block of Carroll Avenue in Mamarroneck, police said. The black handgun displayed at the scene of the crime was recovered during the arrest.

Norwalk Man Facing Assault and Other Charges After Chase on the Hutch

A Connecticut man is facing numerous criminal charges after he led Westchester County Police on a chase Wednesday night on the Hutchinson River Parkway, rammed two police cars and injured several officers before being subdued and placed under arrest. Three police officers - two from Westchester County and one from Harrison - were injured in the incident, which occurred about 9 p.m. James Rozsa, 24, of Ingalls Avenue, Norwalk, was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, a felony, and Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, misdemeanors.
